I purchased this tile cutter to handle a 24 by 12 inch SnapStone tile. It did not cut these tile and I presume it is because SnapStone has a rubber backing to be laid without using thin set mortar. Both of the tile I tried broke up into several pieces after scoring and pressing down on the lever. I did test the cutter on another 24 inch tile as well as a 12 inch and it worked well.
The packaging, however, needs something to be desired. It was delivered in its product box with no protection. The unit is heavy and thus the box had several holes in it and was very banged up. I had to make sure all of the parts were still there and that the unit worked. This needs to be shipped in another box with some sort of padding.

High quality Tile Cutter
I just remodeled my bathroom and I did the tiling myself. This tile cutter is so nice. I started with a different tile cutter before switching to this one. This tile cutter makes the edges cut so much cleaner plus this is 24 inches rather than just 14 inch. The score slide is smooth. I also did not have any problems with the tile not breaking along the score mark (unlike the other cutter I used which I often had that problem) I’m not sure what they’ve done different. Maybe they’ve just made the cutter more ridged or maybe it’s how the structure pushes on the tile to get it to break along the score line. Either way I love it. I have allowed my Brother-n-law to borrow it. He’s a contractor and does bathroom remodels often. He really likes it as well and says it is a professional quality product. I have included several pictures. I recommend this product.

Just started using the tile cutter. So far so good. Two of the small black screws that holds the extension arms fell out. Was able to find them and put them back in.

Fair to good for the price
Worked great doing 24 in diagonal cuts on 18 in tiles. After 10-15 cuts tho, the cutting wheel was worn out, and the base flex increased, so I had to clamp all 4 corners to a bench, and replace the cutter. Now I get about 4 of 5 diagonal cuts to work. Could not find the correct replacement cutter anywhere including QEP, had to modify a different cutter to work. stop is too short, should be at least 12 in if this is to be used with 24 in tiles. Worked uniformly excellent for rip cuts. Replacement cutters expensive at $18-20. Performed fair under challenging conditions .

truly a professional tile cutter
This is a well-made professional tile cutter. It is convenient and much less expensive than a wet saw. It is a quality product that can be used for straight and angled cuts. A diagonal cutting guide is included and can be attached to the tile cutter.
The glide moves easily and the wheel scores and snips the tile very cleanly. My husband was able to cut all the tile needed for his project without issue. He said that this machine is not designed for tiny cuts or for combination cuts. Otherwise, this is a perfect tool for most any tile job.
He also has a tile rubbing stone. This is used if there should be a small fragment left on the scored and cut tile. He never had to use it during his project with this tool.
Very nice product.

My experience did not start out great, the company shipped me the wrong tool (a staple gun). But mistakes happen, I get it. It only delayed my small DIY project a few days to get it resent to me. But when I did get the 24 Porcelain Tile Cutter it did not work that well. I was installing 6"x24" faux wood tiles in my bathroom I needed to cut them lengthwise against the back wall. This tool only cut 10-20% of the tiles cleanly. I had to flip the tile and break it from each end and then take my grinder to the center part of the tile that was left in place. This did not give me a clean look but it is against the back wall and has caulk covering it so did not ruin my project. If you are only cutting 6" this will work the majority of the time, but if you are using larger tile I recommend spending the extra money and buying or renting an actual tile saw.
