Nice look, but an overwhelming number of tiles with manufacturing defects
I had to buy 3 times the quantity of tiles I needed. I agree with the other two reviews about the lousy quality control of the manufacturing process. I bought 270 tiles (90 packs of 3 tiles each, one square foot); from the 270 tiles about 50% had big manufacturing defects that could be seen from a distance of 4 or 5 feet, another 20% of the tiles had smaller defects which you would need to come up to 2-3 feet from them to see the defects, and about 30% of the tiles were gorgeous (84 of the 270) and those were the one's I used returning the defective tiles. If you are looking for a glass tile with a metalic backing at Home Depot, this may be your best bet, I couldn't find anything else similar. But you had better be prepared for the fact that 70% of the tiles will need to be returned. CAUTION: don't let your contractor pick out the tiles, do it yourself, only you know your individual tolerance for imperfections. Home Depot accepted the returned defective tiles without hassle.

I can't give a true evaluation all the tiles because I did not use them. The color wasn't exactly what we were looking for.

DO NOT BUY THIS TILE - DEFECTIVE
I purchased 42 square feet of this tile directly from my local Home Depot. The two pieces that I examined in the store were nice tiles, very pretty color, no defects. I contracted with Home Depot to install the tile since the tile is glass and I wanted to make sure it was done professionally. The installer installed the tile a few days ago, and from a distance, the tile looks great. That night, I examined the installed (but not grouted) tile and found defects in about a third of the tiles. Everything from broken pieces, severely pocked tile, bubbled backing that caused the tile to look blistered from the front, lines in the tile, uneven spray on the back which affected the color consistency, major overspray from the back to the front of the tile, the defects were endless. We called Home Depot immediately, and they agreed to fix the tile with replacements. But- I thought that maybe the batch I got was just a bad batch. I was wrong. When I went to the store to pick up replacement tile that had been brought in from other Home Depot stores in our area to get replacement tile, I had to go through 40 cases (40 square feet), to find enough non-defective tile to replace the defective tile. Of those 40 cases, we were able to put together 10 that were not defective; the rest, all 30 cases, had significant and a variety of defects. Horrible, horrible tile quality. So, Home Depot is scheduled to replace the tile on Saturday of this week; hopefully we have enough to replace the bad tiles.

Especially like this glass tile because of the coating on the back. It makes for much easier installation than other glass tiles and results in a much more consistent look

Horrible! I purchased 70 boxes (7 cases) of these Jeffrey Court glass tiles and 75% of them were so obviously defective I could not use them. Inconsistent shades of color and thickness. Many were chipped (before being painted), warped, bubbling, contamination, streaks, runs, and even fingerprints could be seen between the glass and back-paint! The one's I could use had to be painstakingly scraped with a razor blade to reveal the shine. Terrible quality control in China. Not worth the money, especially when you consider the hassle of extra time, frustration, and returns. Order 75% over if you really want these.

Difficult to match and cut
Great looking tile but is very difficult to cut cleanly. Even after proper scoring and using diamond blade with cutting wheel the backing rarely stays in tact. Likewise, size and shading of each tile varies from box to box. If used in a solid (stacked)pattern without the need for cuts (carefully planned backsplash or accent) the tile will work well but inspect each box to ensure uniformity of color and size.

Tile has extremely poor quality control
The previous review is 100% correct, the quality control on these tiles is TERRIBLE! I had to buy double the quantity of tile I needed to get enough good quality ones. I then returned the defective pieces, or used them as cuts (Home Depot had no problem taking them back). The good quality pieces look beautiful when put up, but it is annoying having to sort through the bad ones. Luckily I did the work myself, so I caught the bad ones before they were put up.
I'm not giving it a 3 star because the good quality tiles are very nice looking, but I shouldn't have to sort through all the bad ones.
