Awful awful awful
I am beyond disappointed with the flooring, it looks amazing from afar! But then you look and walk on it and tears of absolute disappointment arrive! I had to match one room and even though I could have got laminate for a third of the price, decided to stick to one room and complete the open plan passage and living space, as half of it had been done.
Very excited to find it at Home Depot. Being online meant we couldn't really have a good feel...
Well it's been laid now and is full of chips and gaps and holes everywhere. The top layer of wood is peeling and very few of the pieces were straight at all. Very flimsy and feel apart easily when being held. Please DO NOT buy this product unless its for a non traffic area and somewhere unseen !
I now have celotape over the pieces that are peeling to prevent my children from getting splinters. Paranoid that every toy will scratch it, definitely not a good buy. Now wish I had bought the third of a price laminate and done the whole house. It would have lasted longer. Don't say no one warned you!

My handyman had no problems laying the parquet and smoothly...
My handyman had no problems laying the parquet and smoothly integrating it into the existing parquet from the other room of already existing parquet.

pre-finished parquet oak
product arrived perfect - floor looks fine but not perfect
comparing to a floor I put down in the early 60s - before prefinished. 60s floor had perfect size so there was never a gap between any of the squares and no voids (other that wood pores) in surface. This prefinished has some small gaps and voids. Goes down quickly using trowled glue.
I topped off with two coats of satin polyureathane varnish as I don't like shiny floors and the varnish helped seal the small gaps.

Product looks nice once installed
There were some chips and gaps in some of the boards needed to be removed before installing. Some boards were glued misaligned and needed to be broke apart and put back together.

I love it
I put this in my entry way 5-years ago. It still looks like the day I installed it. The strange thing is that I checked my old receipt and I bought it a $1.19 per square foot. 3X increase in price over 5 years seems extreme.

Great Flooring
4 boxes of the parquet (100 sg ft) was delivered in great condition. Very few flaws in the wood. Easy to trim pieces and install. Only suggestion for Homedepot is they should have examples in the store. I was trying to match an existing floor, and examples would have been helpful. Completed floor looks beautiful. Thank you.

Returned for refund - Did not match existing flooring
Purchased by matching the online color picture to my existing floor. The picture matched but when the product arrived it was different so I returned it. Home Depot needs to have samples of their online only products in their stores and allow you to borrow it, take it home and match the color prior to purchasing it.
