LOVE LOVE LOVE this floor! Excellent quality, very durable and incredible look. It is very rustic, so don’t expect a “even” look. It’s meant to look like real french oak floors and it does, well, because the top layer really is. The true wood variances that make it look anything but engineered.

However it is a very unsmooth and matte surface. i would say the color is a bit darker than advertised as well. In the end we returned before we installed b/c it was too rustic. Luckily, HD has a great return policy and will continue to shop with them.
