I bought it to re-carpet 5 rooms in my house with a plan to sell when I'm done. I'm not so sure I will sell it now. I'm a big DYIer and had never laid carpet before. This power stretcher was a great investment and is easy to use. Once I found a pattern to stretch it, it was easy to do. Along with using a kicker this tool made easy work of a difficult task. I did accidentally cut a section about a 1/2" short but with the stretcher I was able to cover up the mistake. I thought about renting a tool, but I like to take my time when I do things. This tool has paid for itself.
