The Roberts Laminate and Floating Wood Flooring Installation Kit comes complete with a tapping block, pull bar and 50 wedge spacers, designed for the do-it-yourself installer. The wedge spacers provide the correct expansion gap at the perimeter of the room, while the tapping block and pull bar help make the installation a tight fit. The kit also conveniently includes complete instructions on how to install laminate and floating wood flooring. For larger installations, multiple rooms or for the professional installer, you may want to upgrade to the Professional Pull Bar (model 10-18-8) and Professional Tapping Block (model 10-17-8), also available at The Home Depot.

Make your own spacers. If doing anything more than a 6x6 bathroom, buy better quality tools separately. Per installation instructions for luxury vinyl plank flooring with cork on the back, spacers were required for installation. The spacers included in this kit are absolutely worthless and do not function as intended. Spacers will not stand vertically or horizontally on their own. They would fall over and fall out. I ended up using the pull bar or scraps of flooring as spacers. The pull bar works although so light weight it bounces. You must hold it in place or risk damaging the edge of your flooring. It is functional. I borrowed a heavy duty pull bar and the difference was noticeable. I cannot comment on the tamp bar because it never came out of the box. Overall this kit was not worth the money and frustrating to use. I would return it if I could.

I think the individually sold tools would be a better quality and last longer. I was doing a sing...I think the individually sold tools would be a better quality and last longer. I was doing a single home improvement but I could see the benefit of the higher quality tools. The plastic block was not as sturdy as I had hoped. Also it didn't have the custom edge that the more costly block had so there was some damage done to the laminate.

Must have if you are laying a "snap in" floor....Must have if you are laying a "snap in" floor. Worked beautifully on the vinyl plank flooring I just put down. Makes it so much easier and prevents you from damaging the planks. All you need aside from this is a rubber mallet and whatever you want to use to cut the flooring. This is a really convenient package.

The block worked great, the tool to tighten up the floor took off the finish, fixed it with a fur...The block worked great, the tool to tighten up the floor took off the finish, fixed it with a furniture pen. I installed a stronger cushion to isolating the tool from the floor. The spacing blocks need an upgrade taking into account the overhang of the drywall. As a DIY this is a required tool for floor install.

I wish I had this for the 4 other floors I have installed. The wall tool was especially helpful when I needed to finish the last long runs next to the wall. The tapered block worked nice locking in the sections

The tapping block was way too small for 48" flooring....The tapping block was way too small for 48" flooring. The bar is almost too short to use against the wall. The spacers are wedges and didn't work very well. You are much better off buying the adult size tools spacers separately .

The pull bar did its job but the spacers were...The pull bar did its job but the spacers were hard to work with. They kept slipping under the drywall. There is no lip on the tapping bar so it damaged some of our interlocks.I ended up having to go buy another one. :(
