I used 2 of these to lift a glass shower...
I used 2 of these to lift a glass shower I'm guessing was about 50 lbs. The cups slid up the glass as I lifted the door up. I managed to get the door out, but was pretty fearful the cups would lose hold and the door would come down on my feet. I ended up lifting the door by hand when I had to replace it. These cups may work well when lifting glass horizontally only (like a coffee table top), but not vertically like this. Had to return.

Very good product, we tried the less expensive one's first...
Very good product, we tried the less expensive one's first and they didn't do the job. Slight problem with them slipping, but more our problem than the product itself.

Based on the price and the quality of the product I definitely recommend it. In my case the description was very accurate, it held all kind of surfaces I tried, with some very rough surfaces. Would buy it again

BAD purchase
The description said would hold rough surface tile. This is partially true for a few seconds. Would return but I cannot locate the receipt.

Got these for several purposes, but one of the main ones was to install 12" x 12" marble and granite tile. Once you set the tiles down in the mud, they can be a bear to pick back up if you need to adjust the tile or depth of the mud. These suck to the top of the tile and you have a handle to pick up the tile. We also used them to install a large frameless mirror over the fireplace. Very Helpful tool to have around.
