The rounded nose is fairly brittle and chips/cracks easily. It's...The rounded nose is fairly brittle and chips/cracks easily. It's a two piece nose cap and just staked on top of one another with glue. I wish the nose piece was locked into the tread portion for a more secure fit. If you don't get the nose piece flush to your tread, it could break off. Looks good.
