Product performed as represented
Installed turf with splice today. Glued and weighted overnight per instructions. No problems with seam during installation, and seam is virtually invisible.

seam tape
ordered 60 ft role. product works well, however would have been best if manufacturer included basic instructions with product. there's a peel off sheet on one side and figured that was to be removed and adhesive applied to that side. since adhesive takes 48 hours to cure, would eliminate doubts since I had 60 ft of tape applied.

"Tape" to me meant that it was sticky on one side like masking tape, only I expected this to be much heavier for the job. After all it was quite expensive. When it arrived I found that it needed glue, an extra expense, to make it work and it is worthless to me now, as the artificial grass is down and I am not able to apply glue and the "tape" and weigh it down like the directions say...... So I am left with a useless roll of fabric.
They should change the name of this product, or sell it with the needed glue as a package so people will know what they are getting.

A perfect solution!
Putting in a backyard putting green is not too involved, as long as you have all the materials. Seam tape is an absolute must, but it is one of the most difficult items to find. This product from Home Depot fit the requirements perfectly. At a foot wide there is plenty of room for gluing the green to the rough, and the backing assures the glue does not soak through to the ground. I couldn't be more pleased.

not tape
this is simply 12" strips of landscape fabric. It has no adhesive so I don't know why it is called "tape"

Pricey piece of fabric.
This is not a piece of adhesive. It is basically a piece of landscape fabric that you put under the turf. You still need to apply a bead of Liquid Nails, or other type glue to hold down the turf. I could have figured out a cheaper way to seam the turf, than to use this. I assumed that is was an adhesive product that you just peel back, an press the turf on to hold it down. It is really just a piece of fabric to lay on the stones to lay a bead of glue on. Pretty pointless.

I never had to use this tape so I returned it.
I never had to use this tape, but had to give it a rating. I just used the staples to secure the artificial grass. The tape was not needed.

They shouldn't call this tape!
Used liquid nails just as the instructions said. It did not hold. Very disappointed. And it cost $25.
