MasterWear Premium 3-in-1 Underlayment is ideal for installing under laminate and engineered wood floors. MasterWear provides a premium moisture barrier, sound reduction for both impact noise and from floors underneath and cushioning required for a proper, quality installation. MasterWear is a highly engineered flooring underlayment made out of recycled PET fibers thermo-bonded together and needled for additional strength and compression resistance. Mold and mildew resistant, lightweight and easy to install, no VOC’s, clean and made out of 100% recycled materials. The 3 in. overlap film with self-sticking adhesive strip makes for easy installation and full moisture protection. This is the first time laying pergo wood floors &...
This is the first time laying pergo wood floors & the underlay was easy to install. Likes that it had a tape strip @ the end to attach the next row & the way the padded back stuck to the wood floor the builder put in. I was able to easily cut to size with a blade.

Sound Dampening, Water Vapor Barrier in OneI used about 60 feet of this underlayment under luxury vinyl planks in our master bathroom. To cover the concrete floor I simply rolled out a length, cut the end, and repeated 2 more times. It can be cut easily with scissors or a utility knife. The adhesive strips work well and are easy to use to ensure that overlapping lengths stay connected. I also installed a radiant heat film on top of this, under the flooring. It was easy to cut channels into this underlayment to make room for the wires, then tape it all down with duct tape. It seems very well made compared to other underlayment I've seen (or used myself) and is super easy to use. I like that it has a water proof layer on top, and soft sound proof layer along the bottom side. It's a great foundation to install under floating floors.

Easy to layout and once it is down it does...Easy to layout and once it is down it does not seem to slide. It actually attracted to the sub flooring which was good.
When joining two pieces together from the ends versus the plastic/pre-taped sides, I did use a clear tape just to make sure of the spacing.
