Don't botherI decided to go with the cheap spacer. They ended up being too soft and mushy to hold their shape will and I had to go back to HD to get the Green Bulls Eye 1/8-1/4" spacers that I should have gotten in the first place. Don't waste your time with this product. Spend $2 more and get the right spacers for the job.

While the rubber helps hold them in, they can be 'squeezed' a little which can, but rarely, result in an inconsistent gap. They are cheap and if covered in thinset, can just be thrown away.

pick something elsethis product is poorly made, inconsistent in size, and will not stay in place. you'd be better off cutting 1/4" strips of wood to use as spacers.

Flimsy and doesn't stay in placeIts a flexible material that gives out under slight movement or pressure, and its not designed well enough to stay in place. A hard, square plastic piece seems like it would work better.
