This Merola Tile Agadir Gris 12-1/2 in. x 12-1/2 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile features a high-gloss finish and an elegant design to add character to any space. With its durability and abrasion-resistance the tile offers versatile installation indoors, from residential baths and kitchens to commercial entryways and sales rooms. It appears from the picture that it might have a rough finish, but it is very smooth. There are several subtle colors in the 'sand' that makes up the pattern from gray to blue, pink to red etc. Also, the pattern is very large and defined. So in order to show properly, the lines must match up perfectly. The weak point of this tile is its packaging. The cardboard is very light weight for a tile of this size and there is no cushioning between each tile, so it is subject to breakage. When my tile arrived there were breaks down the middle splitting the tile in half. So if you choose this, be sure to add at least a box or 2 to your order to allow for breakage in shipping.

Beautiful!This tile is absolutely beautiful. The pattern is very subtle and really looks exactly like the picture. The tile has texture and is glossy. Looks much more expensive than it is. It is classic and goes with many styles.

It's nice to deal with a company that cares. The tile itself is very pretty, but seems at its best in very bright light. The pattern isn't so obvious in dimmer lighting situations. Two negative observations: One; There were at least two tiles out of the eight I removed from the carton that had a rough point not smoothed out or covered by glaze. I would be concerned about bare feet with this issue. Second, in some places the gray dust particles were a little bunched giving the tile a black grease mark look. Overall, given careful inspection and a good wipe with one's hand this would be an excellent choice. I returned the box.
