Great product, beautiful result
Brickweb and Home Depot really delivered on this one! We are soon-to-be "empty nesters" and wanted to convert the teen room into an upscale entertaining area and convertible office. The small alcove at one end of our basement provided the perfect area for brick to simulate an old foundation wall and give it a wine-cellar feel. The Brickweb was packed really well and arrived in perfect condition. Install was easy for this do-it-himselfer (I am a marketing guy, not a contractor!), and aided by a very good YouTube video I watched a few times. Cutting the thin brick to exact size to fit the adjoining wall was easy with a hand grinder. This project was the first time I used this tool, and it proved to be fast and accurate. Word to wise, wear a hoodie, eye and nose/mouth protection because there is a lot of dust! Naturally this is outside work. Completing the job involved mortaring the joints (Tec sanded, Light Smoke) with a grout bag and tooling with a masonry tool -- two more "firsts" for me. It proved easy and fast work once I achieved the right consistency of the mortar. Compliments are coming in now, and I pass these along to you and the Brickweb folks. The product delivered on promise, gave the desired look-and-feel, and complements perfectly the granite countertop and Home Depot Lyndhurst Cabernet cabinetry!

Great product for DIY accent wall!
I did a lot of research on this product before pulling the trigger and I read every review I could, so I thought I would add my 2 cents. I had to order 11 boxes to complete my 8x11 accent wall and the product arrived mostly intact, there were several chips in the bricks but that added to the rustic look I was going for on this wall. If you're looking for exact edges with no chips, this isn't the right product for you! The bricks were easily cut with a diamond dipped blade, but this will produce a lot of "brick dust" so make sure you do it outside and use a breathing mask for safety. After applying the mastic to the dry wall, the sheets matched up very nicely and it wasn't too difficult to cut the brick around the sconces I had installed. Make sure you use brick sealer before you start grouting because it helps out a ton with cleaning off the mortar for the finished product.
The only major issue I had was grouting in between the bricks after it was applied to the wall. I watched several Utube videos where they showed the guy using a grout bag and easily applying the grout, but after several attempts watering down the mortar, we still couldn't use the grout bag. We had to apply the grout using dry wall spackling tool to hold the grout and then using a grouting tool to push the grout into each crack. This was a very time consuming and took me and my buddy about 10 hours to complete the project. Once the mortar was dry, it was very easy to go back and clean off the brick because we applied the brick sealer before we started grouting. Overall, I'm very pleased with the final look and I would highly recommend the product to anyone looking for an over the top accent wall!

I am restoring a 150 year old Victorian Mansion that is a restaurant. The outside walls of the building were originally brick that has since been plastered, sheet rocked, etc. Previously, we used the single brick veneer, over top of lathe and a scratch coat. This process took 4 months to complete in the downstairs dining area. We are now building a new dining room on the second floor and wanted a more efficient means to accomplish the same look. We opted to use the brickweb product and have found it to be significantly better. We removed the sheet-rock and mounted 1/4 cement board to the wall studs (in place of the lathe and scratch coat). Instead of mortar, we are using a quick grab premium adhesive, applied to the back of the brickweb. The process is incredibly fast. The bricks are far more secure and setting them 12 at a time versus one by one is cutting the construction time dramatically. In the photo attached, this work was completed in 10 hours. This same amount of brick doing it the old way would have taken 6 days. The quality and the look of this brick is outstanding and beautiful.

Excellent product!
BrickWeb is an excellent product! After tearing down several layers of a 1930's fireplace, I discovered that I needed to reface the original to achieve the look I wanted and yet reduce the overall weight of the fireplace. Brickweb did the job. It was easy to install and easy to grout. Cleanup was a snap. For this job, I installed it both horizontally and vertically with no problems. I would highly recommend this product for both professional and do-it-yourself types. Thank you, Brickweb!

Thin Bricks
The thin brick webs all arrived intact. They were easy to work with and of good quality. I over ordered because I didn't realize how easy it was to cut them to size. I ordered a box of singles for fitting tight spots but ended up not using any of them. They look fabulous. The only thing I could suggest is a shorter method of applying grout/.mortar. We applied the grout with a squeeze bag which was exhausting. It would have been worthwhile to rent a pneumatic industrial putty gun or similar.

Worked perfectly!!!!!
This product worked exactly like we hoped it would.
We are very happy with the results. A few broken pieces in the box, but nothing major.
We would definitely recommend and use this product again.
