This durable prefinished solid real hickory floor features a brushed surface that will enhance the value of your home. The flooring is made of 3/4 in. thick sawn solid wood and features mother nature’s naturally occurring beauty marks such as distinctive color variation, knots and mineral streaks. The brushed texture enhances the woods grain creating a weathered, vintage appearance. The floors plank length is totally random and varies based upon the yield of each tree. The aluminum oxide finish provides more abrasion resistance than ordinary urethane finishes. Our flooring is proudly crafted in Tennessee from responsibly harvested wood. Amazing looking product after it was installed. Like with any real wood product it can scratch but its easy to stain back to the brown then it blends in perfect.

Terrible Terrible TerribleSo with any purchase such as this there are good things and bad things. I wish I could say the good out weighed the bad. The appearance of the wood looks great from the uniform color through the 36 boxes that I ordered which was nice but the milling issues on the bevel edges was just horrible. It was like they used 5 different machines to mill that bevel and they were all out of spec. Not only that but the ends on a lot of the boards tapered in sometimes to make the board 3 15/16 compared to 4". They looked fine until you tried to nail the next board in and they didn't match up. This created a huge time waster trying to find boards that match the smaller end. In most cases I had to rip the board out and start over. I'm still laying this floor down and can't understand how a company that claims to have been doing this for years out of Tennessee could be this bad at milling. No quality control at all on the milling. Never did a project were I swore as much as this one. It does look good once down but to get that way it involves super patients and tons of time as you can't get any sort of rhythm when nailing down due to the milling. Asking Home Depot for a discount.

The boxes were opened and pieces were sticking out and were damaged. There was clear tape on most of these boxes indicating that they were opened previously. The finish was so thin that my finger nail scratched the finish right off with one swipe. If the flooring was cut the finish would rip right off at the cut. I was disgusted with the product. This product was $5.99/sf. There needs to be a thicker finish and more durable and delivery of the product needs to be perfect and not damaged. I can't tell you how disappointed I am!!!! I like the look of the product and wished it was better but Home Depot and the manufacturer absolutely screwed up big time.

We ended up terminating the installation. We opened up the first 8 cases out of 51 cases bought and were defective in measurement. They created gaps in between floor wood. We wasted money, time and physical inconvenience. We hired a crew of 5 men and now have to come back when the right floor comes. My house is turned upside down walking on sub-floors on the entire ground level indefinitely. Very very upsetting!!!!

The entire experience was beyond expectations. A very helpful customer...The entire experience was beyond expectations. A very helpful customer service representative helped us to troubleshoot delivery challenges and to retain a sale price. The quality of the wood was outstanding. We used 570 square feet and only had two boards that were unusable- out of 34 boxes.

FlooringAwsome color and style and texture. Use for master suite with huge throw rug and it looks awsome I believe we made a great choice. Also we didn't have enough and ordered more on homedepot website and it arrived within two days of ordering. Read quick return time helped with getting the demo completed on time. Thanks homedepot you did it again.
