The Mistral Collection Northern Canadian Birch Cappuccino 3/4 in. x 2-1/4 in. is a durable pre-finished solid hardwood floor that has been grown and crafted in Northern Canada, giving it natural strength, while capturing the color variation, knots and mineral streaks. The Northern Canadian hardwood planks have a classic modern chocolate brown color with a satin finish. It has 8 coats of aluminum oxide on the finish to ensure durability.

Beautiful Flooring
We had this installed all through our renovated house, 2 years ago. The color is beautiful in real life (slightly less warm/red than HD pictures), there's a wonderful variation between boards, enough to add some depth/difference, but not be distracting. Like all dark flooring, it can show dust/dirt, especially when the light hits it. I don't have much experience with hardwoods, but this seems on the softer side-- not ridiculously so, but it can dent. We were comfortable with it showing a little wear, since we were also considering some of the hand scraped/ rustic wood floors, and while it's gotten a few marks over the years we've lived with it, on the whole it's held up wonderfully.
An amazing value, beautiful looks, and the best part-- solid hardwoods! It can be refinished years down the line if we need or want. We are thrilled we found this and absolutely love our floors.

Nice
The cappuccino was darker than I had expected. But the color looks good in the rooms I bought it for. It is easy to install but is time consuming because the boards I like and ordered were the 2 1/4 wide. It is worth the effort.

Alot of smaller boards only had 5 or 6...
Alot of smaller boards only had 5 or 6 pices that were over 2 feet long but other then that it was easy to work with
