3/8 in. x 7-3/4 in. x 47-1/4 in. Frontier Alamo (10.334 Sq. Ft./Pack) is made from real kiln dried solid sapele hardwood. Each board is hand-selected, piece-by-piece for their natural color, grain and character marks, such as knots and mineral streaks. Just as the trees in our forests are not identical, each individual hardwood board has its own unique markings. As such you will notice the grain variations that help distinguish each board as a unique work of natural art. It is not uncommon to find different grain contrasts in the same board of solid wood. The lighter grain was closer to the tree’s bark (sapwood) and the darker grain was closer to the tree’s center (heartwood). Skilled Artisan’s cut each individual board to length and plane them to multiple thicknesses to enhance the 3-dimensional visual of wood. Afterward, each board is individually hand finished, an art form that involves an expert eye, a craftsman's touch, and the attention to detail. Choose from over 23 beautifully hand -crafted designs which feature the natural character of wood and becomes a focal point to any room it is placed in. The product looks great but there is a huge flaw. Every box I opened had pieces of wood pop off. ...
The product looks great but there is a huge flaw. Every box I opened had pieces of wood pop off. I went through a container of wood glue putting the pieces back together. Very frustrating. I need to order 3 more boxes to finish my basement. I would never by this same product again. I personally would take this product off the market.

We loved the look of this and how it looks in the space but..... #1 we bought $1400 worth of wood...We loved the look of this and how it looks in the space but.....
#1 we bought $1400 worth of wood and $500 worth of plastic adhesive. But we returned the adhesive because using it makes this project WAY too expensive. Instead we bought a couple sheets of plywood ($30). Nailed the plywood to the wall and then used a finished nail gun to nail the boards to the wall. Much cheaper. Looks fantastic and it will stay in place better.
#2 the wood planks pop off very easily. See reason #1 of why we decided to nail it to the wall instead there was a bunch of pieces that we had to reattach.
#3 you need a chop saw to cut the boards that end up on the edges.

This is not as easy to install as indicated. Your...This is not as easy to install as indicated. Your measurements have to be precise and so does your cuts, so it's not a quick and easy job as I was led to believe. I am giving this three stars because these planks are costly and for the price I expect to take them out the box and install on the wall without issue. Instead, I had to buy wood glue and glue pieces of wood strips back on the plank which was also time consuming cause I had to wait and ensure that the wood pieces were glued successfully back onto the plank before attaching to the wall. I have included a picture of what my wall looks like now, but I am not done. I am going up to the ceiling, but for all of the time and effort we had to put into it, it does look really nice. Just know that it's not an easy thing to install and the manufacturer did a poor job making sure the wood strips were sealed to the planks.

AwesomeWe used the product to build a Headboard for our bedroom. We purchased a hollow core door at the Home Depot. Ordered the product and Deco Mat online and picked it up at the store. I was concerned with the negative review on the Deco Mat. I checked with my local store and they told me it was to be used on a smooth flat indoor surface only. On any other sub straight (i.e. textured walls, wallpaper etc. I should use the glue or nail installation method. They also informed me that the manufacturer had made improvents in the adhesive used to adhere the strips to the panel and added staples to each piece to resolve the loose piece issue. We have had no issue with the panels since installed.

It's a show stopper!!!! Trust me.
Easy to put together, Took my contractor and hour for 14x8 wall.
I had it up since Nov 2016. Far out ways my expectation.
Each panel is like a jig-zaw, it fits into each other well, easily cut, each little piece of wood is glue on a thin panel backing, so one or two may fall out but just wood it back in. We install this to the wall using contractors glue from home depot. I believe this item is only an online item.
We also used this under a step down in our library.
