While I installing Pergo flooring I went thru many cheap...
While I installing Pergo flooring I went thru many cheap tapping blocks. This one did the job and help me complete my task & is still in one piece.
If you’re planning on installing a Pergo floor & doing the work. Do yourself a favor and purchase this tapping block and save some money.

ok. It's utility is growing on meWasn't sure I needed this, and Lamton laminate instructions say to not use one, but I got it anyway. It took about 2 weeks to arrive by mule from a bunker in northern Idaho somewhere. Initially did not use much, but now that I am into the project I find it is actually nice. You can tap the laminate together by using another small piece of laminate instead, but sooner or later you are going to misalign things and end up chipping the floor and then have to remove that row. This tool has a nice edge on it that makes it easy to slide along the row. It is not the most durable item, and already shows a few hammer nicks in it, but if you use it gently it is better than just using a piece of flooring. I'd get it again.

Best and Only Tool for Floor InstallAfter going through 4 flooring blocks, I decided to try the Bullet tool via an online (only available) purchase via HomeDepot.com. Heck, I had even purchased two of HD's 'Roberts' tools in store...no sir, broke apart before I had laid down 100 sq flooring footage. The Bullet tool was durable, ergonomic, and effective. Although a couple of bucks more than in-store brands, BUY IT! As a matter of fact, I say to the HD (floor) purchasing VP: TRASH all of the 'Robert' tool bars...STOCK Only the Bullet Tool!

It's a little smaller than I expected, but I used it on 600 sq ft of Pergo and it still looks new...It's a little smaller than I expected, but I used it on 600 sq ft of Pergo and it still looks new. It worked fine and never damaged an edge with it.
