Nicely padded (better than similarly-priced pads that are much thinner)....
Nicely padded (better than similarly-priced pads that are much thinner). The broad straps that wrap around the back of calf are much more comfortable than others I have worn: they don’t rub into the calf and back of the knee. The fabric front prevents marring of surfaces you kneel on.

They are good if you aren't having to move around...They are good if you aren't having to move around much while kneeling. If kneeling to do a little job, they are good. They are firm. They will save your bony knees. If you have to do some crawling, they will move out of place quickly so that would require a different type of knee pad.
