Better then most in this price range.These are very fair and comparable to the competitors knee pads in the same price range however with more gel padding.I have both of Ridgid's knees pads and to be honest with you neither one of them lack in comfort. However I do have a favorite. If your going be on your knees for an extended period of time and moving around a lot, you may want to invest an additional $20.00 for the Ridgid stabilizing knee pads. They are amazing. The extra hinged thigh strap ensures a comfortable fit and with no slip so you spend less time pulling them up from your ankles
