Hand Scraped 1/2 in. Cross-grain Plywood floors are sealed with a 7-layer aluminum oxide finish, providing protection from everyday wear. This product has achieved GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification and has been tested for more than 10,000 volatile organic compounds, including formaldehyde, to meet these standards. The tongue and groove installation is easy and economical; above grade, on grade and below grade. Hand scraped flooring is sculpted by hand to create vivid texture and unique richness of characteristics in each plank. Beautiful floors.
We installed this in our mountain house. Very easy to work with and it looks absolutely beautiful. Contrasted our dark cabinets and trim very nicely. The handscraped surface really is a nice touch and the variations in the veneer made it fun to mix up the boxes for a nice random looks. We even found a coupe of highly unique colors and textures to use as highlight boards in our more visible locations. I nailed it with 2" cleats over tongue and grooved OSB. It is a softwood, so it will be prone to scratching, so use pads under furniture. Nice thing about handscraped finish is that ti hides most scratches - just another part of the texture.

Looks great. All boards in each box were good.I ordered 15 boxes of "Hand Scraped Birch Heritage" by Legend and everyboard in each box was usable. I had no bad boards. This was 1/2" thick Engineered tung/groove wood flooring, HL507P. I originally was planning to glue the floor down, but after reading others talking about getting adhesive on boards and it being hard to clean up, I decided to nail it down. So I rented a pnuematic nailer (Powernail 50P) from Home Depot. Installation went well, back and knees a little sore, but the floor turned out beautiful. My wife likes it so much she wants other areas in the house to have this same floor.

Looked nice, but made in ChinaSent it back to HD. I live in hardwood country, lots of locals selling hardwood flooring. Won't be as easy, but worth saving some jobs in Ohio. Didn't state anywhere that the product was made in China online, but boxes were covered with made in China. Thanks to Home Depot for taking it all back.
