Nice floors
Overall very happy with my floors. We have them for few months now. As i red other peoples reviews about them getting scratched, I can honestly disagree. Floors look beautiful, and the only scratches we created is when moving havy solid wood furniture after installing floors, whitch was our own fault because we didnt secure the bottom of the furniture with any rug or any other soft material, either way we dont really care because that even give floors more caracter and we were going for farmhouse look.Besides that floors handle very well daily traffic in our living room amd dinning room, even with my husband being havy walker in his cowboy boots with metal plates on heels.
So what makes me think people that created scratches by walking must of weight 300 pounds or more.
We have 3 cats running around and no scratches are crated.
For the price floors are beautiful, easy to install, so far durable and am very happy with them. Will buy more for the rest of the house.

Dissatisfied Customer
I had a professional install this floor back in March 2015. As soon as the product was laid, I dropped my cell phone on the floor which was in a protected case with a smooth grip cover and it dented the floor. It is a very soft floor. Then I noticed places where the top of the floor was delaminating. Yes the top surface was peeling up. There were also places where the sides of the wood started splintering up. If you rub your feet across the floor you would get splinters in your foot. I called the professional company that installed the floor and they sent out a representative. They took samples of the floor and sent off for hardness testing. The material only registered 1000 on the Janka scale, Acacia should be at 1700. Needless to say the manufacture is going to give me my money back and the professional company that installed the floor will replace. I'm finally get this resolved in September 2015. The floor is absolutely beautiful but there is no durability or longevity with this product.

This flooring is for looks only.
Within 24 hours of installation, this flooring had scratches in it from my cats. The finish was substandard. The contractor contacted Home Legends and they sent an inspector out to look at it. They said there was nothing wrong and gave me "hints" on how to avoid scratches. My other hardwood floors and my leather sofas do not have scratches and are 7 years old. I had to have it professionally fixed and resealed. We took the samples and the leftover pieces and showed the inspector how easy it was to scratch with a key, ballpoint pen, a dinner knife, etc. Since resealing it with a high grade sealer, it hasn't scratched. My contractor was very surprised at the poor quality and will definitely not use Home Legends products. This was an expensive floor and was put in a home office. This floor would not hold up in a heavy traffic room or in a household with children.

Unfortunately the color wasn’t a match to the existing floor,...
Unfortunately the color wasn’t a match to the existing floor, however I would recommend buying flooring from Home Depot, if you’re not sure it’s what you want, because their return policy is the best on a whole box. A small sample just doesn’t help, since my floor has a variety of hues in it.

Beautiful FLooring!
We used this for a platform in our sanctuary - It is gorgeous and everyone loved it. It installed nicely (professionally done) and seems very hard and durable. Blends well with other woods in the room (pews, ceiling, etc.). I am posting a photo - NO ONE had a room photo - so hope this helps someone!

WONDERFUL flooring
We installed this hardwood into our KITCHEN 6 months ago, and have since moved in a large refrigerator, a stove, and a dishwasher, and only one small unnoticeable scratch from the dishwasher. I have dropped pots and pans, silverware, and many other items on this floor, and they have yet to scratch or ding it. We have two small dogs, with one who refuses to have her nails clipped, and they have yet to scratch it as well. It has withstood small spills well, and is absolutely beautiful. Sounds to me like someone needs to have their cats declawed if they tear up THIS floor. I can't imagine that the cats wouldn't tear up everything else and just this flooring. We are purchasing more for my home office soon! Word from the wise though - take notice that you can buy these in PALLETS that cover almost 300 sq. ft. for MUCH cheaper than buying individual boxes, and from what I can see, they home deliver the pallets instead of store pick up. :)

Dont buy it!
Salesman in the Jackson, MI store said this wood was harder than oak and that racket ball courts and croquet balls are made from Acacia wood. About halfway though the installation we noticed plenty of dents and scratches after only 1 week. Even my 95 lb mother and her walker caused indentations. Come to find out the wood is almost as soft as pine. Just from the way the installers saw cut the wood we new it was nowhere near the solidness of oak. We have another home in northern MI that is only 5 years old with oak and bamboo floors from Home Depot and they are doing great thus we took fell for the sales pitch on Acacia. We currently have a claim with Home Depot. Hopefully they will resolve this in some way where everyone is happy.

All good except the "random Length"
I would recommend if you don't care about the look of Random Length. The flooring is the color we expected and the installer tells us that there is very little waste. The boards are consistent and even - he says easy to install.
Our only complaint is that the supposed "Random Length". We have install over 25 boxes so far and there are only 4 lengths. The longest length about 4 ft has only been in half the boxes. All the other lengths shorter and are only a few inches different from each other. The effect is not random. We were disappointed.
