Looks great, but wouldn't buy again
My wife and I bought this product as a compromise between expensive hardwood and unrealistic laminate.
The Good: We loved the look and decided this was for us. After laying it, it still looks as good as we had hoped. Even though it's not solid hardwood, it gives the room the feel of it, and the quality from a visual appeal standpoint met expectations.
The Bad: Don't buy this if you plan on installing it yourself.. I can't understate that opinion enough. The nature of the engineered wood left it more susceptible to warping, and if your floors aren't perfectly level (even in some cases if they are) the pieces will be a bear to "click" together and lend themselves to buckling. Also, don't buy if you assume this will be similar to the ease of working with laminate... again, the natural warping of the boards creates a need for a lot more sweat and elbow grease that laminate doesn't require.
In the end, I wouldn't personally suggest this or go the engineered hardwood route again.

not worth itScratches up real badly. Don't even think about putting it in a high traffic area. Mine is in my basement kitchenette and we don't wear shoes inside the house. I put a plastic high chair on it and a plastic bucket on it while doing the backsplash,,,,,,,they absolutely destroyed the floor. Don't bother calling the company when it does scratch......they don't do anything. I'm already calling in a professional to refinish it. Oh yeah, at my cost.

I have never been more disappointed in a product. After spending nearly $5,000 on this flooring,...I have never been more disappointed in a product. After spending nearly $5,000 on this flooring, in exactly 9 weeks I have numerous gouges in the finish layer. My dogs cross the hallway once in the evening and once in the morning. They are not allowed to be in that area at any other time. It is apparent that each time they step on the floor they do damage. If you have kids, dogs, furniture or humans that are going to walk upon your floor, DO NOT purchase Milstead Engineered Hardwood Flooring.

Good flooringFlooring went pretty well, a bit messy with the glue down application, but after 20 rows or so I got it figured out. Make sure to clean the glue off as you go or it will be heck later. I don't usually put down this type of flooring but, it was for family. The product seemed to be of good quality with few bad boards, the only issue I had was with the random length of the boards. I had to many that were 4 feet long and not enough shorter starting boards. The floor came out well and my in - laws were happy(yes I said that).

This product has just the right amount of luster to bring life to my hallway.Product came in varied lengths and color variations, but blended well with the 8 boxes that my project required. The transition pieces were easy to install after being trimmed to fit by my installer. It looks great and was worth the wait of the special order. I have a dog and cats and so far, so good as to scratches.

Love this floorWe installed this flooring throughout our living room, kitchen, hall and studio. It looks beautiful in every room. We are still renovating parts of the house and it is holding up nicely, I even dropped a drill on it and it didn't scratch or dent.
