This durable prefinished engineered real hickory floor will enhance the value of your home. The flooring is crafted of five layers of solid wood permanently bonded together in a cross-ply design. No HDF or other fiber boards are utilized. This construction provides superior strength and humidity resistance no warping or buckling. The stability of this floor provides maximum installation options (float, staple or glue down). The aluminum oxide finish provides 10 times more abrasion resistance than ordinary urethane finishes. I live in the current boomtown of US...AWilliston ND. As such, I have installed many, many new wood floors (of all types) in upgraded homes or new construction. This is the best wood floor we can find for under $3.00 a sq ft. Great quality, superb finish...an instant value added to any home in need. I just finished installing 1300 sq ft of this exact flooring in my own house remodel. Out with the carpet, in with this floor...HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE! I don't think you can find a better deal for at this price. I have installed similar flooring for $7.00 per sq ft. The only near-complaint we receive from customers is some of the pieces are "darker" than they expected. But this is natural hickory, and like any natural wood, there is no consistent coloring or wood grain pattern. With proper placement and selection, the few darker pieces that do show up blend in very well with the overall floor giving a great, subtle contrasting appearance. Buy this flooring and you will not be disappointed.

This is the best looking flooring you're going to get for under $3/sqft. We installed this in one of our bedrooms that used to have carpet, and butted it directly up against the $14/sqft engineerd hickory that's already in the hallway, and you can't tell the difference. In fact, I think this looks better, due to the color variations and the new sheen. Of course, this is not $14/sqft Hickory, so this probably isn't the best bet for high-traffic areas like front entryways or kitchens, as it does ding if you drop something metal on it, and it doesn't have the super-strong aluminum finish of $14/sqft flooring. Though even when you do invariably drop a screwdriver from height on it, the natural color variations of the hickory make the dings practically disappear. As a note, we didn't have the issues of previous reviewers of getting boxes of all the same length. As with all hardwood installs though, you want to take out all the pieces out of the boxes first and shuffle them around to get a nice evenly distributed arrangement of board colors and length, and then lay them down in a pattern you enjoy.

The flooring looks fantastic. There needs to be more variety...The flooring looks fantastic. There needs to be more variety in lengths per box. Too many long pieces which made staggering joints more difficult. We will see how durable it is in the long run. I used 1 1/4” 18 gauge staples. Going to purchase more and do another bedroom.

The flooring looks great, but I was surprised at how...The flooring looks great, but I was surprised at how easily it will ding from something small being dropped it. Ietceent down well, cuts nicely, and it easy to work with. I ordered 15 boxes, and the majority of the pieces are the long ones, very few short ones.

great looking floorwow, what a beautiful floor, it by far exceeded my expectations. for the price of 2.79 a sq. foot, I really don't think you can find a better floor, and its made in the USA. Installation is not hard although it is time consuming as it will take longer than a click lock floor, this floor can be installed three different ways, I chose the floating glue together method which as I said is easy but will take you a bit longer, but is well worth it when you see the results. I would highly recommend this floor.

I got this for a 900 sq ft main floor of my second home. So far I've been putting down an adhesi...I got this for a 900 sq ft main floor of my second home. So far I've been putting down an adhesive and setting the first few rows instead of using 1/4" spacers. Makes gluing the floor as a floater a lot easier. I've done half the house and it is a lot of work. As soon as I finish putting in a hickory cabinet kitchen that has tile out the first eight feet I'll set the remaining area with dining room and front entryway in this hickory flooring. I have a floor leveling compound I pour to be certain all of the floor is level. This is a 1917 yr built home that I've completely gutted and redone and hopefully will be done soon. This floor is easy to work with and is the nicest floor for both install and looks that I've worked with.
