Very good product and price
I did a lot of tests on flooring before i bought this product. First was the scratch test by running a screw driver back and forth over the more than two dozen samples i had accumulated from various stores, this also included some wood samples. Result was i could not see anything easily on the Sante Fe Oak where other i did. Next i dropped a medium sized philips screw driver point first from shoulder high and only got a vary small hard to see nick and some of the other samples it would almost stick in and left a large deep chip. Last was the dropped cigarette test and again the Sante Fe Oak had no easily easily visual marks where others did.
We did the dining room last year and loved it so we just did the great room. Very easy to install with the correct tools and you also need a little patience to do a good job. It is very easy to clean with just a damp mop using water. I highly recommend this product to anyone especially if you have kids and or pets.

OK product, but I wish I purchased hardwood.I purchases 700 sq ft, and it took 2-3 days for myself to install (without any help). The piano finish looks great, but I did have a few manufacturer defects (such as 2-3 boards were missing the "gloss", which became apparent after the installation was complete). Also, 10% of the boards had manufacturer defects (such as an ink-like substance, which rubbed off with enough "elbow grease"). The flooring has an unusual "crackling" when walked on now, which I haven't been able to determine the source. This floor does show all traffic, but that is expected as it is high gloss. I found this floor to be easy to install, and the click-and-lock system worked as it was designed. We installed this in our kitchen as well, which I've since chipped a board when a fork fell directly onto it. I don't think this laminate is as durable as others out there. Also, adjacent boards will separate from their locking mechanism, so look carefully for open seams when installing. Overall, I'm not completely satisfied with the appearance, but I do get a lot of compliments when guests see the floor!

Elegant and beautiful!Execpt for our kitchen and breakfast room, we are having our entire first floor done in this laminate flooring. This flooring is even more beautiful than I imagined. We had really good carpeting before, but with all our pets we wanted something that would be easier to keep clean. It makes our house look more spacious, too. My husband wasn't really sure about getting the laminate, but he is now a believer. We have professionals doing the work, so I can't comment on the ease of installation. However, the installer said that it was really good flooring. I don't think you would be disappointed if you choose this flooring. It totally exceeds all my expectations. I love it!

Warranty ProblemsFlooring was installed by a professional according to instructions. It wasn't until approximately 9 months later when the planks started to warp around the edges where they are joined. I contacted Home Depot and they told me to contact the manufacturer which I did. They sent someone out to inspect and said that the floor was laid improperly as well as moisture issues. The problem is that I have no way to prove them wrong without hiring someone else to come and inspect and then it's their word against mine. They did not stand behind their 55 year warranty and now I have to live with a warped floor. I did file a complaint with the BBB and am waiting to hear back from them.

Beautiful but Husband going NUTSWe have purchased 89 boxes of this so big project. Entire upstairs (4 bedrooms, 2 baths) and my husband is about as stubborn as they come. He installed a Pergo floor when it was glue and strap and swears it was easier than this. I don't know what he is doing wrong but he boogers up some of the end pieces getting them together. He has laid one room and minus a couple of raised pieces where he got a little heavy handed, the floor is absolutely stunning. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is he is driving me insane getting mad at the floor. We had a 1,000 feet of another flooring with a differant texture professionally done in our downstairs and it only took 2 days. Very expensive to have done but I'm about to take the rubber hammer and bonk him on the head ;~(
