These are heavier and better constructed than I expected. The wrap-around gel pad inserts are thick and firm and do a good job of disbursing your weight over the entire pad. I found the inserts to be very comfortable during extended use. The Hook and Loop straps secures the blades snugly to your legs. The insets are easily removable with the push of a button under the glide allowing you to use just the inserts without the rollers.
I used them while installing a vinyl tile floor in a storage area. They are a little difficult to put on while standing, much easier while seated, and due to their weight with the rollers attached walking around with them on is very uncomfortable. The wheels are soft enough that they don't leave any marks on the floor and they roll smoothly once they're headed in a given direction but going from say a forward direction to a lateral direction requires a bit of maneuvering. About half way through the job I removed the rollers and completed the flooring with just the inserts. I guess if you have a large area to do and a helper is feeding you the flooring, not requiring to get up and down, these will make the job go quicker but for a small job I don't see the advantage to having the rollers.

These Knee Blades are AWESOME! You can roll all over the place very comfortably.
They roll so smoothly and the adjustable fit is perfect. They are made very well
and are surpisingly light weight. The gel padding feels great and so does your back and knees.
They are steady, solid and easy to maneuver. Built to take some heavy use and cover your shins too.
(see pic). I couldn't believe how comfortable and easy to glide around on they are.
So so HAPPY!!

Save you knees! These "roller skates for your knees" provide much less wear-and-tear on your knee...Save you knees! These "roller skates for your knees" provide much less wear-and-tear on your knees if you are performing a task in a kneeling position for an extended period of time. We have large areas of ceramic tile in our house- that means lots of grout to clean! The only effective way to clean grout is to get on your hands and knees and scrub. You kneel in these knee pads, strap them on with a velcro strap, and you're ready to scrub. The cushioning makes them comfortable to use and easier to use than a stationary knee pad that you have to keep re-positioning.

These are a really good idea! While tiling the bathroom floor, I realized I needed a different so...These are a really good idea! While tiling the bathroom floor, I realized I needed a different solution when the regular knee pads I used became more uncomfortable as the job progressed. Having to "walk" on my knees while moving around the floor fatigued my knees and back.
Now that I have these kneeblades, it is MUCH easier to move from one spot to another. The gel padding is so comfortable against my knees. You can also remove the wheel part from the pads if needed. They are very sturdy!
I can use them when cleaning or doing projects where I use the floor instead of a table. Also, I can use them as an exercise tool.... I can do leg and abdominal exercises by putting my hands on the floor and bending/straightening my legs out.
These are pretty cool... Would recommend.

However, the sturdy construction that makes this product high quality is also what makes it difficult to walk in after standing up. What I found to be a good approach was to leave the knee blades unstrapped while working at floor level so that as soon as I wanted to stand up, I could do so easily without even having to unstrap. Even unstrapped, the blades never moved from underneath my knees; I never had to re-position them. The gel padding is superb... very comfortable.
