An ideal tile for a kitchen backsplash or bathroom surfaces, the glass and stone combination of Splashback Tile Matchstix Torrent Glass Tile creates a beautifully multi-dimensionally effect. The mesh backing not only simplifies installation, it also allows the tiles to be separated which adds to their design flexibility. Sample size tiles available. Love the look!
I ordered these stained glass mosaic tiles to install as a backsplash behind my new stainless steel stove. This selection was not available in the store, but on line the colors seemed the best choice with the varied widths and lengths of glass pieces that I wanted. The colors and look exceeded my expectations. I was a little surprised (but shouldn't have been if I read the description more carefully) that the tiles were actually thin panes of stained glass. The installation was therefore slightly intimidating for a novice glass cutter, but the finished result was fine. The only problem was my lack of experience and not a fault of the product. We used a "Platinum" colored non-sanded grout that really complemented the black and white tones of the glass as well as the stainless steel and black range and the white cabinets.
