I'm a carpenter. I ordered this for a customer to match their new acacia butcher block counter tops during a remodel. I ordered it to keep their costs down. I had worked with similar Home Legend flooring previously and had good results. This flooring was good, had only a few errant boards, had a good mixture of long and short planks, was straight and easy to install, and looks very nice. In hindsight, I would have preferred a little sheen to the finish, but the matte works well and was half the cost. I installed it in the kitchen and edged it with silicon caulk to keep water from getting underneath. I also put it in the eat in area. About 200 sq ft. There was little waste.
This is not really life time flooring. The wear layer is very thin and probably can't be refinished. The factory finish is durable though, and with reasonable care it should last a good while. Eventually it will have to be replaced, but it is easy to pull up and redo. As long as you are aware of that, it is good flooring. I give it 4 stars because of the thin wear layer. Otherwise, good flooring at a great price.
