Great looking tile
I read all of the reviews and had some concerns about 'bowing' that some people mentioned. But hired a floor tile specialists and made sure he used high quality UltraFlex 2 mortar for Porcelain tile by Mapei. I used tooth picks for the tile separation and the non sanded grout for very thin grout lines. Everything worked out pretty well and it took 1 guy about 5 days to lay 550 sq ft into 3 connected rooms. This will look like real oak flooring that has been put down and varnished, and is most common in new homes (although 3" strips). Once installed, you'll realize that unlike the darker wood tiles, this won't make your rooms look smaller like darker woods do, and it doesn't show dust or dirt, and is very easy to clean. Install white quarter round for a finished look and you'll be very happy. I plan to do 2 more bedrooms with this tile. Great quality, but 1 box was broken during shipment.

Forget about hardwood/linoleum
After spending hours (yes hours) of going from home improvement store to home improvement store, to specialty store to warehouse store and reading countless reviews of every flooring product known to man I decided to go with the "wood look tile". You can't beat the cost, the durability, and the low maintenance compared to hardwood or laminate ESPECIALLY if you go with a darker color flooring which seems to scratch or gouge by just looking at it. Plus the colors of tile are really neutral depending on which way you want to go.
I started using these tiles just for my bathrooms and entryway where tile had been laid before but now I've decided to do the whole house (besides bedrooms) only using different colors.
These tiles are perfect for first timers too given that the dimensions are really forgiving and you plan things out.
If you're like me and decide to do it yourself and save a few thousand dollars ($1,300 just on the install. Nothing else. No removal of old tile or cost of new tile for about 130sq feet *coughLowe'scough*) just watch a couple YouTube videos, go overboard on the prep work, spend the extra dime on quality grout/sealer/thin set (but save money by mixing your own...works a lot better too) then use all that money you saved to buy some more tools or to finish all the other rooms of your house you thought you couldn't afford.

The photos online do not do the color justice. The actual color is a warm, natural wood, and the texture is not flat like other porcelain wood look tiles. It has a slight texture added on the surface which makes it look more natural, and which I have not found on any other porcelain floor tile. I did a staircase, hallway, and two bathrooms, and absolutely love it. It cleans with even just vinegar and water, and never shows any dust, unlike darker colors would. I have had it for two years now and am now adding it in two other rooms.

Beautifu!
Had heard horror stories about similar tiles not being level. No problems with this tile though! My tile guy said this was good quality, pretty level, porcelain tile and easy to lay. He used wedges also, to help. Have had lots of compliments. We put about 700 sq ft down in our finished basement. Very pleased with the results. I ordered it at the store so it would be all from the same lot. Great customer service when loading in Fayetteville, NC.
Only problem, they recommended the fawn grout and told me they kept it in stock all the time but when I drove an hour to pick the tile up when it came in, they were sold out. So, I picked haystack instead. It matched pretty good, but I wished I would of gone a shade darker.
Would recommend the purchase!

These tiles look so much like natural wood which is what I wanted. Since they were being used in a bathroom I did not want hardwood. Even the installers were impressed by how real they looked. Am sorry when I had my kitchen redone I didn't think to use this tile.

Install was easy. Need a really flat surface. Any surface issues and tiles won’t line up end to end. I used 1/4” by 1/4” trowel. Would consider 3/8” by 3/8” next time.
