The floor itself is just fine, excellent even. The reason I chose poor is that the website plainly shows Spice Brown (which is what I wanted because I'm matching existing floor), however, after ordering it twice, they kept sending me Tawny Spice. It's beautiful but not what I need or ordered. They finally told me that Tawny is what they have. There's not enough space here to explain it all.

Bruce Natural Oak Parquet hardwood flooringI have a Bruce Parquet floor that I put down 21 years ago and it still looks great. It is in a large family room and is ideal for a dance floor. The parquet is glued down, so you just lay down the glue and stick down the 12" x 12" squares. I decided to add to it. It goes fast and easy and the pre-finish is very durable. Oak is a very hard wood itself so it doesn't dent easily like other hard woods. The Spice Brown color is a medium stain that doesn't show the dirt as much as a very light color would. I have also installed full 3/4" hardwood floors, which are ten times more work and much more difficult to get a professional appearance. Laminate floors to not give the same sense of a solid floor. For a DIY installation, parquet is the easiest way to get a professional look without being a professional.

It was exactly what we needed.I bought 1 box of this flooring to patch the old flooring in our new (to us) 38 year old home. We took a wall down and needed to lay flooring where the wall used to be and also had a water stain in another room from a large potted plant. We replaced the flooring and sanded it all down to the bare wood. We restained and sealed the floors. You can't even tell the new floor from the original flooring.

Several years ago I built a 9'x15' Sunroom addition to rear of my house. I use it as my man cave....Several years ago I built a 9'x15' Sunroom addition to rear of my house. I use it as my man cave. At the time I wanted to install a Parquet floor in this room, but it was going to be to expensive, so I installed a carpet. Through out the years the carpet began showing its age so I recently remove the carpet and bit the bullet for this Parquet Flooring. I should have done this a long time ago. This parquet flooring looks great in this room!
The flooring was on sale, saving me quite a bit of money and I got free 5 day shipping to the store, to boot. The floor was easy to install, and is easy to maintain using a micro mop. It really looks GREAT! I am very satisfied with this purchase from Home Depot.
One downer though: Make sure you measure your job accurately, as this is a special order item and there are no refunds for any unused flooring.

Home Depot delivered the flooring within a week and the...Home Depot delivered the flooring within a week and the flooring was very good quality. Shipping was only $3 to be delivered to my home (free if delivered to another Home Depot).
