This installer grade QEP Margin Float is used for tile grouting in hard-to-reach areas including back splashes and under counters. It has a comfortable soft grip handle and a thick aluminum backing plate that resists bending. The padding is made of gum rubber which is ideal for pushing grout easily into grout joints due to its strength and flexibility.

  • Used to apply grout too hard to reach areas, including under toe kicks, around toilets, and underneath cabinets
  • Non-stick gum rubber ensures a smooth application and easy clean up
  • Elongated 6 in. x 2 in. gum rubber pad for a longer reach

I picked this up for a project of shower trim...
I picked this up for a project of shower trim made of tile. It met my needs for getting into tight spots. It was still awkward in some spots but I also didn't have to get my full-sized float in the larger areas. I had some difficulty getting grout to stick to the float to apply, kept sliding off.

Very good quality float. I've only used it once, to do my entire kitchen, so time will tell if it will hold up to years of use. It's size, along with the handle makes it perfect to get into tight spaces like under cabinets.
