Very Nice Beige T Molding Transition BarUsed this as transition T-bar between two different tiles. (Tile-to-tile). Very nice satin type beige color. Solid metal. Used Dremel tool with metal cutting wheel to trim (use goggles, gloves, thick clothes, and mask to protect yourself from metal debris.) Look at picture. There are two vertical metal strips that go out about 90 degrees from bottom of strip. These will insert into a U-shaped plastic strip. That plastic strip is what can be tacked/screwed down into the subfloor. You need at least about 1/2 inch width between the different tiles surfaces you are putting the T-bar in between to fit that U-shaped plastic strip. I did not have that clearance since I completed my tile work before I bought the bar. I thought there would be just 1 vertical bar going 90 degrees down from T-bar (like the letter 'T'). So this is not really a "T" bar but more like a Roman numeral II without the bottom horizontal lines. If you do not have the clearance to put the U-shaped plastic strip, no big deal. It will take you about 10-15 minutes to use a Dremel tool to cut one of the vertical metal bars off. Then you can just use something like Liquid Nails to glue this bar down between the tile surfaces (or whatever material you are transitioning in between). This T-bar is made for fairly even surface transitions. You can get away with several millimeter difference in thickness between the two different flooring materials you are transitioning, and it will still look professional.
