Excellent Thinset!
Had 422 square feet of porcelain tile to install and we used this thinset. If you follow the directions you will use six quarts of water for one bag of thinset. Instructions say to put water in first and then add thinset. I put in 5 1/2 quarts of water, then add the thinset, use my Rubi mixer to start mixing and then add in the last 1/2 quart of water. I find by adding water the way I do I have less clumps of dry Thinset. You want to mix the thinset on low speed. If you mix on high speed you can get air bubbles in the thinset which will ruin your work. I mix about 7 minutes, let the thinset sit another 7 minutes then mix between 5-8 additional minutes.
I always use a 5gallon pail with a lid. When I am not using the thinset I keep it covered which I find adds to the time you have to use the product. Manufactured states it lasts two hours but with the lid on I find you can extend the time by at least 30 minutes.
It works great for porcelain tile!

My application is for an exterior deck. It will get...My application is for an exterior deck. It will get hot sun and occasional torrential rain and rarely snow. The best tile for this is porcelain and the best thin set for porcelain is this stuff. Mid job it rained very hard prior to any grouting. I had no problems and the deck is beautiful. Recommend
