Very easy to apply. Edge feather nicely. Dries quickly, bonds well, and provides firm hard surface when cured. We are using it to redo our master bedroom floor. The smell is a problem for the first day, but after that no smell.

I had a large ares to repair. In paarts it was about 2" deep. I let it set for over a week the patch didn't dry. It may be good for small cracks.

I used this floor patch to repair the many flaws in a plywood subfloor before installing vinyl tiles. It was easy to apply and served the purpose well. After drying, I always scraped the patches with a wide putty knife then vacuumed before applying primer. The only thing I found out the hard way was to make sure you get a fresh pail because the first one I bought was already rather dried out so was granular and harder to apply. The second pail was creamy and much better.

it works
Reading all these reviews after using this product is hilarious. I am a carpenter by trade but I don't feel that gives me any advantage over reading the instructions. This is made to "patch" a "minor dip or imprefection". It clearly states not to lay on more than a 1/4" of the mix at a time. You're also going to have a bad time if you are using this in place of Ardex (or any self leveling compound), That is not what this product is made for. Seeing pictures of people going to town with a belt sander or complaining that the hole was only a 1/2" deep just makes me smile, they probably still think it's all the products fault too.

Not for outdoor use.
The website Specifications indicates that this filler is for Indoor/Outdoor use. The container instructions (which I only read after purchase and return home) state "Indoor Use Only".

I just had to laugh. Read the directions, folks!! This is NOT for self-leveling. This is NOT for filling deep holes (> 1/4") with only one application. And, this is NOT for creating a super-smooth surface! So many reviews show how the reviewers are blaming this patch for not being what it isn't meant to be! The directions make its correct usage very clear.
What this is excellent for is filling small cracks and minor depressions over wood, concrete, ceramic tile, etc. It is sandy, so it won't provide a glassy surface like soupy self-leveling underlayment. But that's not what it's for! I used it to fill and level the wide grout lines in my kitchen and hallway ceramic floors before laying vinyl plank flooring over it (see photos). It applied easily using a 3" (dollar store!) putty knife. I used a large cottage cheese container as my working container, keeping the product bucket closed to prevent it from hardening.
It worked very well! It spread smoothly and quickly. There is no offensive odor. Reviewers who say it dries very slowly just can't be right, unless they are piling it on way too thickly. I used an oscillating table fan on the floor to promote a fast set and it was hard in about 5 hours.
The one downgrade I give this patch is that there will be some shrinkage. Even though the grout line depressions in my tile floor were definitely no deeper than 1/4", the patch did shrink just a bit - leaving a very slight depression, but nothing that should affect the vinyl plank flooring. So, if no depression whatsoever is desired, plan on applying a second coat. I used the putty knife to scrape off any clumps of patch I accidentally created to prevent them from causing lumps in the soft vinyl flooring over time.
Overall I'm very satisfied and recommend this product, but only for the INTENDED uses in its directions, folks.

Better than expected
This product was very smooth and easy to apply. I wish the container was bigger for the price, but other than that a good buy. It took a little longer to dry than expected as I was working in my basement.
