Beautiful, durable floor
I was looking for a hardwood floor for our den that had rich color, durable (hardness and scratch resistant), easy to install by myself and within budget. I found all four features in this flooring. The click and lock grooves are very strong and simple to put together. The floor is very durable - the contractors installing the cabinets dropped tape measures from ladder heights several times with not even a dent or scratch to be found, so I am sure a rolling office chair will not harm the wood. The only reason it got four out of five stars for quality is that the veneer over the engineered underlayment on this wood is very thin, so it may be difficult to sand/repair a deep scratch or gouge. But for the price point of this floor, it is expected. If you want a floor you can sand down and refinish after 10 years of wear or so, then you'll need to spend twice what this floor costs. The color is fantastic. Different shades and hues make this floor stand out against the cabinet work and complements it very well. Absolutely no problems with installation. Very easy, especially if you have a chop saw or band saw. Just make sure you use a pull bar to get everything nice and tight. HD has a nice kit that includes a pull bar and wall spacers - worth the few bucks in the long run.

We had shopped through numerous samples and styles from various outlets until deciding on this productVery easy to install with air guard underlayment, use high quality carbide tipped finish saw blade for cutting flooring for best edge cuts.Flooring sections with various cut lengths provide a pleasing appearance once installed. Remember to follow directions when installing provided by manufacturer. Open cartons and allow flooring to acclimate for a day or two, some bowing may occur, however they can be easily fitted into locking feature of flooring. Adding 1/4' spacer material to perimeter of room and removing after installation will sufficiently allow for flooring expansion. I would buy this product again.

Excellent Teak Huntington Hardwood FlooringWe are extremely pleased with the quality of our new Teak Huntington hardwood flooring. Everything about this floor is first rate. The manufacturing of this flooring could not be better. We have always had carpeting in our home but removed it and had our living room and dining room covered with this hardwood (more than 1200 sq.ft.). It is perfect, installation was perfect also. Thanks Home Depot in Oklahoma City # 3909.

Good productBought for my kitchen, dining room, and hall ways. Easy to install. Seams really are tight and smooth. The reason i bought this flooring was because I took home samples and beat them up with a fork and submerged a piece in water. This was by far the best flooring compared to others from home depot and other stores. Most of
the wood floors at other stores could be dented with a fingernail. The only complaint I have about this wood flooring is it shows dust easy. My kitchen is still a work in progress so I'm hoping it'll get better once the remodeling is done! I have white cabinets and black granite countertops and it looks great with both. Very classy! My bar area isn't done in my picture but it shows the floor how it looks laid in a large room.

This flooring is durable, easy to care for, and beautiful!I purchased a home in February 2012 and had this flooring installed everywhere in the home except the basement and two bathrooms. Four months later, we purchased a golden retriever pup who still has an occasional accident and manages to slop more water on the floor than she drinks. My point? This floor takes a beating. Between the spills, accidents, dog nails, and general daily use, this floor still looks like new. It cleans up very easily (we use a dry sweeping mop and wet-jet). Certain things will obviously cause small dents (rolling the fridge, dropping a heavy or sharp object) but those dents even exist on my parent's Brazilian cherry solid hardwood floors. I am very, very satisfied with the quality and strength of this product. Just a tip, my flooring installation was coordinated through Home Depot, and they essentially contract it out to a regional installation company (ACS, they are terrible) who contracted the job to a local floor installation company. Since this company was likely paid ahead of time, they did not exactly strive to make me a happy customer. In the future I will be using review sites to locate a local floor installer that I like, trust, and pay only once the job is complete and 100% to my liking.

looks beautiful but disappointed with final resultgood looking floor and easy to install. however, when its walked on it makes subtle crackling sounds. I've read several blogs with similar complaints about this flooring, "homelegend," from Home Depot. apparently the prevailing opinion is the noise is caused by floor movement when underfoot. I used the recommended pad under the flooring which was installed over 3/4 tongue and groove plywood, a very solid, flat surface. I was never a big fan of the idea "floating floors" but was convinced that I would be very happy with it. I should have listened to my gut instinct. someone in another blog described the sounds as "snap, crackle, pop," which perfectly describes my floor. I am very disappointed with this floor. if I do another hardwood floor it will be the staple or nail-down type. its only been down for about two so i'm not sure how well it will wear or if the crackling sounds will dissipate. I would not recommend this floor.
