Finally time to put flooring down in the master bedroom over a concrete slab, to match the flooring in rest of the house - which it matched perfectly. Previous flooring installed 10 years ago! Beautiful finish, and every piece usable. Ordered 10 boxes and all of them could have been made from the same lot. Lots of full length boards to make the job to fast. An easy DIY project if you make sure to have kneepads, the right tools, and take your time.

worst mistake of my entire new house constructionI bought this highly recommended Bruce 3-in wide Prefinished Oak Locking Hardwood Flooring to install in my entire 5000 sq ft home. (I obviously looked in the wrong places for recommendations!)
This floor installed well but has the poorest finish durability I’ve ever seen. The office chair with rubber wheels dents the finish dramatically and after 6 months it looks like it’s been in a commercial high traffic area instead of in a lightly used home office. We also have trouble with the click lock opening in several areas. Due to the expanse of floor covered it is almost impossible to get the affected area to squeeze back tight or to replace.
After my initial displeasure, I closely read the warranty and discovered that basically anything that touches the floor needs to have felt pads or other protection on the feet to make a warranty request even possible. Bruce’s warranty is just a joke. I don’t know what I’m going to do but my brand new dream home has a substandard looking floor that I paid a premium for. I would not buy this again and recommend you don’t either.

Extremely disappointed with this product. Bought Bruce engineered floor butterscotch oak 15 years...Extremely disappointed with this product. Bought Bruce engineered floor butterscotch oak 15 years ago and this Town Hall is very different. The color shown on website and in store matches but in person the flooring was much darker. It is also much thinner so much so that I could break it with my bare hands. The worst part is that although the boards do not vary color as much as the previous flooring or the sample the surface looks more like plastic than wood. I bought engineered wood so it would have the wood layer and not look like laminate. So...darker, cheaply constructed, laminate look. If I was planning to stay in my house I would have dealt with the hassle of returning.

We were trying to match existing flooring after removing some...We were trying to match existing flooring after removing some walls. We ordered this based on what was already in the bedrooms. The color was not gunstock. It was a dark cherry. We ordered a sample of gunstock from a different supplier and that matched the color.
