The reducer molding was a quality dense piece of wood...
The reducer molding was a quality dense piece of wood that stained and urethaned well. Unfortunately the salesman was worthless and the reduced molding was the wrong size. Since you can’t test fit an 8 Ft piece of wood in a 30” doorway without cutting it first I now have very expensive scrap wood.

Trim is a nice trim. too bad this didn't come...Trim is a nice trim. too bad this didn't come in a slimmer line up, I had to sand down the bottom side to make the overall thickness smaller to fit the transition between hardwood flooring and the tile. But for less than half the cost of other trim it was worth the extra effort. particularly because now I was able to stain this trim board the same stain as the hardwood flooring where the other 3 X's more expensive trim came already stained and I could not find any of the other pre-stained trims that matched my hardwood floor's stain.
