Feels great with socks or bare feet
We installed the heat mat to get rid of the baseboard heater we previously had while redoing our kitchen. What a difference! Not only did it help make space and get rid of the eyesore of the baseboard heater, but it works fantastic. Even coming off the carpeted area outside the kitchen you can feel the difference. With the temperature set it vitually heats the whole room and helps keep the temperature of the adjoining room (which will also be getting one installed when it is redone next) pleasant as well. If you are on the fence on whether or not to try this - go for it - you won't be sorry.
