Good cushion but noisy
The pad we purchased replaced a 30 year old pad so there is really no comparison to the quality. It is quite noticeable when stepping from one room with the new pad into one without. A big negative about the pad is the moisture barrier because it is noisy. It sounds like you are stepping on muffled plastic. Not a big deal during the day but when family members are up late a night their footsteps are heard throughout the hallway. I would not purchase this product again based on that annoyance.
