This MSI Calcatta Ivory 18 in. x 18 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile features a high-gloss finish accentuating the white tones, giving the piece an elegant touch. The tile is impervious to water and resists frost for durability and is designed for medium-duty residential and commercial floors, including kitchens, hallways and corridors, but is also suitable for wall applications to accommodate multiple design needs.

- 18 in. width x 18 in. length x 3/8 in. thick
- Glazed polished finish with a high sheen and slight variation in tone
- P.E.I. Rating III is suitable for medium-duty residential and commercial floors including kitchens, halls, terraces and areas used more often with normal footwear and small amounts of dirt
- Impervious flooring has water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor or some outdoor use and is frost proof
- C.O.F. greater than .50 is recommended for standard residential and commercial applications and is marginally skid resistant

tiles get stained easily!
Wao! We were so in love with this tile, but this beautiful porcelain tiles are NOT what Home Depot says in the specification info. We were going to use them to cover the walls and bathtub of a bathroom. But the tile's porcelain cover is so THIN and POROUS, that they get stained very easily. The stains are absorbed through the pores so that not one of the detergents (Windex, Tylex, Soft Scrub, Tuff Tuff) I used to clean the tiles could take the stains out. Worst, the detergents don't take the stains out BUT they did clear out the tile pattern! I was able to "diffuse" the pencil and dirty oil stains using 70% alcohol, but the area was still darkened. Maybe that's why each tile comes with a clear plastic cover on top. It's a pity, this tiles have a real beautiful Calacatta marvel natural look. My husband is going to try to test how the tiles behave after a white grouting treatment, he hopes to somehow seal the pores. But I think these tiles will end out being returned back to the Home Depot Store... : /

Beautiful but fragileI did my research and found that porcelain tiles were both very durable and stain resistant and decided this would work for my kitchen counter. I love the shiny marble resemblance and can't afford the real thing so this was the next best choice. However 3/4 of the way through laying it I discovered it stains. I was using an eye liner pencil to write on tiles for the contractor and after 30 min and 6 different chemicals I finally got it off with vinegar and soda. I'm a little worried it may have taken off some of the coating but it is not nearly as noticeable as the "back splash ^" I had written on it. I went to buy sealer immediately. Home Depot salesman did not believe that this occurred on porcelain tile and told me only the grout would need seal but I finally convinced him the tiles do as well. The counters are done but not in everyday use yet so I will update later on durability. Crossing fingers seal will protect the beautiful tiles.

Couldn't Be Happier!I purchased this tile because it was a good value and it also looked like real Calacatta marble but without the maintenance. I used it as a wall tile in my shower remodel and paired it with Dal subway tile that is also sold at Home Depot. I would recommend purchasing the full amount that you need and not making several trips over a period of time because I noticed that the color does vary depending on the dye lot. The pattern tends to repeat itself and there isn't much variation but I preferred this because of the installation pattern that I chose. Some previous reviewers complained that they used darker grout and that it absorbed into the tile. I chose white grout because I personally think it looks better and didn't have any issues. I have seen imitation marble that is way more expensive and doesn't look nearly as nice as this. Highly Recommended!

The additional box you sent to replace our broken tiles...The additional box you sent to replace our broken tiles had the pattern going the opposite direction. We didn’t notice until we were ready for installation. The tile appears to be more tender than other ceramic tile we have laid.
