GREAT PRODUCTJUST SO YOU KNOW YOUR CHOICE OF THINSET IS VERY IMPORTANT WHEN LAYING TILE, DONT JUST BUY ANY THINSET THATS OUT IN THE MARKET, SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY THIS FLEXBOND CRACK PREVENTION PRODUCT AND YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG. I HAVE USED IT ON MANY PROJECTS WITH HEAVY FOOT TRAFFIC AND WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES. WHEN I USED JUST ANY THINSET THE GROUT ON THE TILE EVENTUALLY WOULD START TO CRACK ON MY FLOOR, NOW YOUR THINKING I MIGHT NOT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL TILE PROPERLY IF MY GROUT IS CRACKING BUT MY SUBFLOOR HAS 24" ON CENTER JOISTS AND 3/4 PLY, NOW THATS ENOUGH TO MAKE THE FLOOR FLEX WHEN PUTTING YOUR FULL WEIGHT ON IT EVEN WITH 1/2" CEMENT BOARD. SINCE USING THIS PRODUCT I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE GROUT LINES CRACKING OR ANYTHING. I AM NOT A CONTRACTOR BUT I HAVE TILED OVER 800SQ FT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE WHO'S TILING. IT DOES WHAT IS SAYS ON THE BAG.

excellent bonding abilityI used this to put travertine on top of previous ceramic tile in a large shower enclosure. I called the co. and they said to rough of the ceramic tile with a course circular sander/grinder. It has been over ten years not a single cracked or lifted tile. Incredible bonding, excellent for vertical surfaces.

Mixes well. Easy to apply and to use. Excellent bonding strengthFlexbond is my go-to mortar for bonding ceramic and porcelain tile. I have used this product to adhere tile to cement as well as to wood subfloors, with extremely good results. The product mixes easily with water and applies smoothly to all floor surfaces using a notched trowel. Only mix what product you can use in an hour to avoid waste. Once cured, Flexbond creates a permanent bond between the tile and the floor. Its important to clean Flexbond off tile surfaces before it cures because after it cures, it's impossible to remove. I value my time, effort and labor, and would not trust any other mortar product. Highly recommended.
