This durable prefinished engineered click real hickory floor is easy to install. Simply engage the long sides at an angle and press down. The flooring is crafted of five layers of solid wood permanently bonded together in a cross-ply design. No HDF or other fiber boards are utilized. The stability of this construction provides superior strength, humidity resistance, and installation options (glue-less, floating, or glue down). The aluminum oxide finish provides 10 times more abrasion resistance than ordinary urethane finishes. Our company has been manufacturing wood floors to exacting standards in Johnson City, Tennessee for over 110 years.

Looks amazing and is super quality for a low price
I bought the wood and had it installed within 9 days from ordering. Myself and a friend who does floors put 420 square feet in a living room and hallway in 1 day including quarter-round and with the cuts. It came out amazing and looks very fancy, giving the room a huge boost in value as well as style from the old carpet that used to be there.
The finish is durable and has not scratched or dinged yet. With felt pads on all the furniture, it slides very easily and shines beautifully after running a damp mop over the floor.
I am amazed at how cheap it was compared to full-service installers. I bought the 480 square feet for $1,700 and the underlayment material for and quarter round for $450. Other professional full-service organizations quoted $5,000

Easy to installBeautiful and easy to install. But have found a few chips and flaws. If any thing spills, be sure to clean up immediately or ridges develop.

Beware Return PolicyI love the floor! Some of the boards were defective, but plenty of good ones as well. The hickory is incredible...beautiful variation in the boards. Each one is a piece of art. But my contractor overestimated the quantity needed. I ordered a pallet, assuming I could return anything he didn't use and receive the money back. But not so. At first they didn't want to take it back at all!!! Finally they gave me store credit. Not perfect, but better than no return at all. That should be explained before purchase.

Depends on what you want!If you have kids or a high traffic area. DON"T buy this product! It scratches VERY VERY easily. It is a very attractive product to look at. If I didn't have young boys I would say awesome all the way. But children will destroy this product within one year end of story the finish on the boards is super thin!!!! you pull even a light weight chair across it it scratches! installs SUPER easy pay attention not all of the boards are good! but I had very little waste if you are even half decent at carpentry.

The floor looks awesome!Having spent hours seeking a hickory engineered floating floor, we originally chose Kahrs, but by coincidence read an on line review of Millstead Hickory and looked for corroborating reviews and ratings from others. The overall value of this flooring won out handily. Installation went smooth, with plenty of random lengths (need to open several boxes) and grain mixes. Very few pieces with hairline split ends or blemishes (used in closets, etc. anyway). We're very satisfied with this product!

really work as anticipated.Please look at the wood. You must install it with the "tongue" (exposed unfinished edge) both length and width exposed so the (very short unfinished edge) of the next boards fit effortlessly into the previous boards. The first row (long piece) must be installed from left to right; Then add additional rows.
