Unfortunately when using these spacers the gap from the floor...
Unfortunately when using these spacers the gap from the floor and drywall starting always causes the spacer to push under the wall. Had to constantly pull installed flooring back to maintain spacing.

Does the job, if the gap between the bottom of...Does the job, if the gap between the bottom of the sheetrock and underlayment is large, the spacers can slide underneath the wall, so keep an eye on them.

When you need a little spaceThese worked great for installing my new PERGO floor and BLACKJACK underlayment. Due to the thickness of the underlayment, i used the thin side of the spacers, and actually achieved just over 1/4" recommended space around my perimeter and floor vents.
The design has a thin side and a wide side, when used together gives you the recommended 1/4" space. So be careful if you have a large room, as you probably will need more than you think. My first install was 300SF, and i did not need to use 2 to get the 1/4" space. Once i installed a section, i had to space them out pretty far, so i had enough to use in other areas.
I would suggest buying extra to save a trip to HD, and only opening if needed, and just return them next time you're at HD. Be careful though, if you try to use them and then return, its obvious. These are so cheap, don't cheat!
