The QEP Tile Leveling Clips Value Pack (300 per Box) are part A of a two-part installation system engineered to level, align, space and hold large body porcelain tile, marble and stone during installation. This part of the system works by automatically aligning and spacing tiles. The wedge part B of the system (sold separately) works by maintaining tiles at an even height until the mortar sets, thereby ensuring the resulting surface is level and free of lippage. The system is used by professionals to save time while providing level and consistently spaced results.

Using the system on 18 inch floor tile. Does not perfectly align the height of the tile. It does help hold the tile while you adjust the other sides so I still use it. You install the clips, lay the tile, and clamp it with plastic wedges. After the morter is set, you snap off the top of the clip, leaving the bottom in place under the tile. Biggest complaint is about 10 percent defective out of the box. Poor quality control for such expensive little plastic pieces. The break away part of the clip is either too thin to clamp without snapping, or are separated out of the box. You can tell which ones are bad when you notice the web is very bendy. I still use them and complain to myself when they snap off as I clamp.

If you use these on long tiles u will need 6 to 10 per tile and they are so stiff that they raise the tiles up to a quarter inch in some cases and they raise the tiles above a one quarter inch trowel line so mo mortar touches the tiles and they dont adhere. Then when stio for the day the last line dries out mortar so u cant uae them at all on mext row because duh thise tiles from the day before csnt adjust up or down so in some cases the next row wil be lower or higher if u do dig out mortar and insert them they will actually CREATE lippage instead of leveling them. But the worse problem is how much the lift the tiles and you will have to buy a lot more mortar to fill in that space. I will never use this product again its an idea that somply doesnt work well in practice.

These are much too heavy for the Lash Tile Leveling system to work. Plus the 1/2" mortar lines are too much for this system. I recommend just using cross spacers (1/8" or 1/4") and level yourself.

Expensive But EssentialI’d never be able to get large tiles...Expensive But EssentialI’d never be able to get large tiles set to an even depth without this or something similar. It’s a lot faster to ratchet these in than to pound with a mallet, but they cost a lot for a little disposable plastic part. The tool for inserting wedges is definitely worthwhile.

We've used SEVERAL of these levelers in different jobs. This...We've used SEVERAL of these levelers in different jobs. This last batch of 900 that we purchased (more to be purchased), we've had to throw away about half of a box of 300 because they were flimsy and wouldn't allow us to clip the wedges in. We're currently laying over 1,600 sqft of tile.

Spent over a hundred dollars and im honestly not as upset about the waste of money as i am with the waste of time and frustration... Im using these for a floor 12x24 tile as these were recommended to avoid lipage and retain levelness. The problem with these isnt that the break often (which can be avoided by soaking them and going slow) the problem is theyre bowed which means when you start to clip them down they clips themselves will be cockeyed which cant be prevented... Too little clipping and they cant do the job you paid for which is leveling LOL and too much (after 2-3 clicks) they become slanted to one side .
For the love of god pick up a level for 5$ and a small circle leveler instead of this. The flat ones probably work great because they straight up copied another manufacture becuse their origional product (i.e this one)was awful........
I have no idea why homedepot would of this on their shelves and i have no idea why they wouldnt have the flat ones.
Bottom line this is a terrible product with obvious set backs that QEP has to be aware of this and for that ill burn any product i have of theirs and insure im very vocal about their brand being total garbage.
Spare me the customer service talk about better approaches as i read all of them and have tested many methods. Its a huge design flaw that i actually assumed before buying it would be an issue but hey homedepot wouldnt have it has their solo product if it was garbage , right?
Wasted my vacation and wasted my 3 day weekend and wasted around or over a hundred dollars......... Im so angry

The clips work as they should. I just hope the...The clips work as they should. I just hope the tile quality gets better and don’t have Bowes in the tiles, then we wouldn’t need to use these. Slow process and can get expensive with 6”x24” tiles.

These clips are a must for large format tiles on...These clips are a must for large format tiles on the floor or wall. Been using them for a couple years now and will continue to use them. Great product.
