Ours was stolen out of,one of the vans. I am a high end specialist . Working with wool and silk rugs and carpets mostly. This tool works GREAT for restretching. old wool rugs that were installed with the wrong type of pad. Also making up seams with nylon pattern goods or photo print carpets. I am ordering a new one now. I will send a pic with us using it. To stretch a room and maybe set up a seam. But our old one worked Great...

Good tool with below average assembly partsAfter just a few uses, the pivot pin cap fell off, and I found that the pin was too short to reassemble it. The rest of the pins are held in place with a circlip, I don't understand why this one used a flimsy cap. Poor design. Basically it is a useful tool, just not built to adequate standards.

Not SturdyThe stretcher will not hold in place.This makes it difficult to use . Each time you pound it down it wiggles and will not hold down firmly, as necessary to complete the tight fitting stretch.
