I decided to DIY a stair runner. I did a bit of research and came up with this product. I've never used anything other than a manual staper so I didn't know what to expect. Wow, this beauty made my project so easy. It was a cake walk to use and I couldn't be happier!

Worked Great for me.I used it to do a flight of stairs with a landing. It worked great without any stapling problems. The metal housing left some scuffs on my painted wall when I was wrapping the carpet over the ends, but thats my fault - I should have protected the wall with blue painters tape and plastic. Price is *excellent* compared to other units out there.

GREAT versatile electric staplerBought this to staples foam sheeting and fabric to plywood for sound isolation purposes, but ended up first using it for installing fiberglass insulation in the ceiling. Unlike other staplers, had no jams and was light enough (for a woman) to hold above head for an extended period of time, All metal construction and comfortable handle.
If I wanted to be picky, since there really aren't any negatives about this product-- would just have say that we wish they had a rechargeable/wireless version, as the power cable is a somewhat a hassle to tether as you move along if working overhead. Otherwise, a really good product and extremely similar to an old discontinued model made by Craftsman that we rented from Peterson's on Saw Mill River Rd in Yonkers, NY.

Bad itemThis item is a piece of junk. It worked for about 20 staples and then it quit and would not fire anymore.
