Nice block but, if I had to do it again, I would probably buy the cheaper one at HD that better matches the tongue on the vinyl plank flooring.

Order one of these blocks when you order your flooring (unless you already have one, of course). ...Order one of these blocks when you order your flooring (unless you already have one, of course). You won't regret the investment. It's notched for click-type vinyl & laminate planks, and can be used for wood flooring. It's length allows it to accurately align planks along the edges at end-joints. And, of course, to fully engage edges along the length of adjoining planks. Used with the Estwing 12-oz double soft-face hammer (SKU #806-699), they're about the only 2 tools you'll need (aside from a steel tape and saw).

I ordered this tapping block along with 500 sq/ft of laminate flooring, on Sunday, April 16th. B...I ordered this tapping block along with 500 sq/ft of laminate flooring, on Sunday, April 16th. Both items were in-stock at my local Home Depot. I received the flooring the next day, Monday, April 17th. The tapping block, is still floating somewhere out there, 8 days after the order. I set up my weekend to install the flooring, assuming the block would arrive on time. It did not, and is now delayed a third time. How did a pallet of flooring arrive in one day and this little thing is on the Santa Maria during its three week trip to the new world??
