We used this in conjunction with the LifeProof Sterling Oak Luxury Vinyl Plank to go between our new vinyl flooring and carpet in one area, tile in another. It blended well with the flooring and serves as a great transition piece. My only complaint is that the metal track seemed to be too low to the plywood to be able to snap in the reducer, so we had to screw the track into a scrap piece of vinyl so that it would sit high enough to be able to snap in the reducer while covering the gaps. The end result was great.
We used a hacksaw to cut the metal track and a circular saw to cut the reducer and it seemed to cut fine. The only trouble with using the hacksaw for the metal track was that it definitely required a lot of muscle!

I ended up having to buy two (totalling $50) because one regular threshold ended up being just a ...I ended up having to buy two (totalling $50) because one regular threshold ended up being just a few inches too short (after cut in two) for two doorways. They could have made them a bit longer. Also they stick up quite a bit, they are not flush.

One of the best products to use in a bathroom...One of the best products to use in a bathroom or kitchen. Pretty easy to install ( be care not to break of the lip). Forget ceramic tile. Easy to clean and not slippery when wet. Love the product. Used in 5 bathrooms and one kitchen.

This floor is absolutely gorgeous. I have received so so...This floor is absolutely gorgeous. I have received so so many compliments it's beyond belief. Install was very easy. I'm really glad we decided with this floor considering it was thinner than the average laminate.
