This tile appears to be a 100% resin tile with an antique nickle finish (don't know why they describe it as "metal" or "ceramic" as it does not appear to be either). It looks exactly as illustrated, and has dark charcoal coloring on all its edges. Therefore, it is suitable for using as a finishing trim where the edges might show. I used it to frame a shallow alcove where I have a mural. It looks great, and is light-weight, so there was no problem securing it to the wall with regular premixed tile mastic.
