I expected this to be a much better product for the janka rating. I have a lab/boxer mix and she left deep gouges in it on the first day. My contractor said it's the worst he has ever seen. He also pointed out that the wood isn't straight and had some gaps. We spent days laying this in a huge room and now we are tearing it back out. I love that Home Depot isn't giving us any problems returning it, but we worked so hard putting it down.

The product is beautiful. We are very pleased with the results. The cost from home depot is lower than other floor stores.
