The Model 50P Flex is the professional's choice. This pneumatic tongue and groove floor nailer is built to exacting standards. From its cast aluminum body, anodized aircraft aluminum internal parts, specialized U-cup seals, to the best warranty in business, this is the professional's first choice. The 50P Flex shoots 18-Gauge, L-shaped Powercleats uniquely designed by POWERNAIL to reduce cracking and splitting. Available in sizes from 1-1/4 in., 1-1/2 in., 1-3/4 in. in length. This pneumatic is equipped with a special safety trigger, is mallet actuated and works from 80 to 110 PSI. The floor thickness can be measured in inches or millimeters. The Flex unit easily adjusts from 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) to 3/4 in. (19 mm) without using shims or pads. It is the perfect nailer for installing vertical and horizontal bamboo, Brazilian teak, cherry and other similar wood species. Excellent Cleat Nailer
This is a great product. Put down first of three rooms with no misfires or problems. Used with 3/4 inch Brazilian Ebony which is a very hard/dense wood with no problems at all. Would recommend this product without any hesitation. The Cleat Nailer does not come with a valve, so plan ahead. It needs a 3/8" to 1/4" reducer for a 1/4" valve too.
Also bought the POWERNAIL palm nailer with this product for first few and last few rows, which is a must have too. Had to predrill for the palm nailer in this hard/dense wood, but it worked perfectly. This company makes great products.

Powernailer 50P Flex is fantastic!This was my first experience with a cleat nailer and I can say without a doubt that the 50P Flex is an outstanding tool. It's easy to use, and only took about 10 minutes to initially calibrate. From that point on it's performed flawlessly. I considered renting a nailer for my bamboo floor job, but I'm very happy that I chose to purchase the Powernailer instead.

Absolutely Perfect!This flooring nailer worked perfectly. Easy to use/ setup. We did our entire install without a single jam. We installed bambo flooring. Follow the instructions and you should have no problems. This is a higher end tool & you get the quality you pay for.

So far SOO Gooood.Never a jam and only miss hit twice. Both times because I had not established a solid set on the nailer before I hit the actuator. This tool has been 100% for me so far. If only I could eliminate the operator error I'ld be in hog heaven.

Outstanding! Made in USA, build like a tankI could not agree more with the other reviews and wanted to add that this tool is worth every penny. I also purchased the PowerPalm for blind and face nailing. Great item and buying my own instead of renting had already paid off.

I'm using this gun to nail down 3/4" fossilized bamboo flooring. The stuff is hard as granite and...I'm using this gun to nail down 3/4" fossilized bamboo flooring. The stuff is hard as granite and laughs at my other guns. I was very impressed with this gun's ability to penetrate the wood. Set up was easy and EVERY nail has sat perfectly. It's well worth the price tag.
